At the Crystal Ballroom, Book-Cadillac Hotel, on Sunday,
Sept. 10, Rabbi Rosenthal united in marriage Sarnia Wagner
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wagner, and Dr. Harold M. Brooks,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brooks of Cleveland, 0.
The bride wore a lovely gown of heavy white satin and lace
fashioned on princess lines with sweetheart neckline, the full skirt
ending in a long train. The finger-tip veil of white lace was held
by a high coronet of seed pearls, and she carried a prayer book
and orchids.
Miss Marcella Wagner attended her sister as maid of honor.
The bridesmaids included Misses Shirley Trepeck, Dorothy Pinsky,
Dora Denenberg and Rhodine Magids.
Richard Brooks acted as best man for his brother, while the
ushers included Charles Levine, Bernard Sharkey, Oscar Schreiber
and Frank Slavine,
Miss Marvel Frank rendered "Because" during the ceremony.
The wedding was solemnized at high noon and was followed
by a luncheon in the Italian Gardens.
For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Wagner chose a gown bf
purple crepe, while Mrs. Brooks wore a blue gown.
On their return from Northern Michigan, Dr. and Mrs. Brooks
will reside at 5927 Lakeview Ave.

Report on Conference

Daniel Temchin, Mizrachi lead-
er, who was elected by Detroit
as one of the representatives at
the American Jewish Conference,
will deliver a report on the con-
ference at a Mizrachi meeting to
be held Saturday, Sept. 18„ at
9 p. m., at the Turover Shul, Lin-
wood at Richton. Mr. Temchin,
who was a very active partici-
pant at the conference, will re-
