Bringing to a close a large
number of pre-nuptial affairs the
marriage of Miss Muriel Stein-
berg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Julius Steinberg, to Pvt. Wm. W.
Wetsman, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Herman I. Wetsman, was sol-
emnized July 12.
A beautiful candlelight setting
with white floral decorations in
the main Chapel of the Congre-
gation Shaarey Zedek was formed
for the marriage service and read
by Rabbi A. M. Hershman and
Rabbi Morris Adler. Miss Stein-
berg, who was given in marriage
by her father, wore an ivory satin
gown, styled on Princess lines,
with a long train. Scallops formed
the sweetheart neckline and her
finger tip veil of frothy illusion
fell from a shirred halo. The
bride's Colonial bouquet was cen-
tered with white orchids sur-
rounded by gardenias.
Mrs. Gerald S. Steinberg at-
tended her sister-in-law as ma-
tron of honor. The bridesmaids
were Mrs. Marvin J. Wetsman and
Mrs. Merwin K. Grosberg. All the
attendants were attired in ice
blue gowns of satin and marqui-
sette and carried colonial bou-
quets of carnations. Virginia Ann

and the groom's mother, Mrs.
Wetsman, wore eggshell and
black, both wore corsages of or-
chids.
The bridal couple left for
Cheyenne, Wyo., where Pvt.
Wetsman is stationed.

(Lillian Feldman)

The Bnai Moshe Synagogue
was the scene of a lovely wedding
on Sunday, June 18 at 7 p. m.
when Rabbi Nathan united in
marriage Lillian Feldman, daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Feld-
man, of 1993 Monterey Ave., and
Syd Olken, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Nathan Olken, of Chicago, Ill.
The bride was charming in a
gown of white brocade satin
fashioned on princess lines and
ending in a long train. Her full
length veil was held by a crown
of seed pearls and she carried a
prayer book and white orchids.
Her attendants included Mrs.
Faye Feldman as matron of
honor, Doris Rich, of Chicago,
Mrs Mildred Zerkel, Freda Price,
of Windsor, and Harriett Miller
as bridesmaids. Barbara Feldman
was flower girl and Marvin Fei-
nitz ring bearer. Zelmer Olken,
of Chicago, acted as best man,
and the ushers included Bob Feld-
man, Marty Feldman, Bill Rein-
itz and Lou Feldman.
Mrs. Feldman chose a blue
gown for her daughter's wedding
and Mrs. Olken wore aqua crepe.
A reception followed the cere-
mony.
