ciation. Dr. Edgar holds the
M. D. degree from the Wayne
University Medical School, the
M. A. degree in English Litera-
ture from its graduate school,
and is soon to receive the M. S.
degree in psychiatry from the
graduate school of the University
of Michigan. Dr. Edgar is a

Anti-Semithm Harms
Democracies, Aids Nazis,
Says Goebbels
BERNE (WNS) — The thesis
that anti-Semitism destroys the
national unity of the democ-
racies and plays into the hands
of Adolf Hitler was supported
this week by no less an author-
ity than Nazi Propaganda Min-
ister Goebbels.
An article distributed by the
Nazi party press service for for-
eign consumption stated that "the
Jewish problem has become a
world problem" and that "co-
operation" among anti-Semitic el-
ements in the United Nations will
aid the Nazi war cause.
"There cannot be a peace be-
tween us and the Jews, there-
fore we are doing all we can
to attract attention in the coun-
tries of our enemies to the Jew-
ish problem," the Nazi press
service said. "Only history
knows to what extent anti-Semit-
ism among our enemies can
change matters in our favor.
"We know that our realistic
attitude can lead to the fact that
anti-Semitism may become a
world-wide movement. As the
war goes on, there is increas-
ing evidence that our enemies

Beginning Friday night, June
11, and continuing throughout
the summer, Temple Israel will
hold its Sabbath Eve Services
in its meeting room, room 14.
Boulevard Bldg. Room 14 is on
the ground floor of the Boule-
vard Bldg. on the boulevard side.
It may be entered either through
the lobby of the building or di-
rect from the street. The street
number is 3076 East Grand Blvd.
Rabbi Leon Fram will officiate
and speak briefly at each serv-
ice. These summer services are
planned to begin at 8:30 and
to be concluded at 9. Members
of Temple Israel who observe
the Yahrzeit of a dear departed
one during these summer months
will be notified as usual and the
names of the dear ones will be
mentioned at Kaddish at the Fri-
day night service. All of the
regular functions of the Sabbath
Eve Service, such as the nam-
ing of newly born children and
Ear Mitzvah observances, will be
performed throughout the sum-
mer.
