ice, as evidenced in their letters
and requests and those of USO-
JWB workers stationed over the
country. Villages and small cities
are unable to supply the needs
of large military bases nearby.
The Serve-a-Camp plan relieves
pressure on the small towns, at
the same time opening an avenue
of war service for women's groups
in larger cities which are far
away from army camps.
The operation of the plan is
simple. The Serve-a-Camp com-

serve a particular camp on a

Chanukah, Purim and other Jew-
ish holidays are always noted
with special gifts appropriate for
the occasion.
Some of the requests are un-
usual. One young man said he
would be quite happy if he had
a tuba. Another, far from civi-
lization, asked for a record of the
famous Moonlight Sonata. There

That Serve-a-Camp helps to

sent to the committee from the
boys.
