• BIRTHS
IN THE REALM OF
LOCAL SOCIETY
MORAL . .
"WE CAN EASILY REPRESENT
THINGS AS WE WISH THEM TO BE"
ENGAGED
That is the way Aesop had of saying "wishful thinking.• He told
of a man who tried to prove to a lion that men were
stronger
than they by showing the beast a statue of Hercules overcoming
a lion.
Today we no longer think as wishfully as we did • a year ago.
We are learning to face realities. We want to know the truth.
If we are so realistic about most things in life it stands to reason
that we should be just as realistic about our health.
There is no need to worry and fret needlessly but at the same
time we should not dismiss persistent aches and
pains, tiredness,
bleeding, or any other abnormality without consulting our doctor
to find out "why."
We at Sam's take an attitude of reality in our prescription work.
We developed step-by-step checking of prescription work, to elimi-
nate possible errors, we buy laboratory-controlled ingredients to
get the 'best results, we pay fop wages to secure the best pharma-
cists, yet through our tremendous business we maintain Detroit's
most reasonable prices.
