of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Aronstein of Carter Ave. Dr. Aronstein is
a graduate of the University of Michigan College of Dentistry.
Miss Levine is now attending the University of Michigan.
Mrs. M. Goldman of 2470 Gladstone Ave. announces the
engagement of her daughter, Marion, to Pvt. Albert Lupiloff, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Lupiloff of 1974 Tuxedo Ave. Pvt. Lupiloff
is stationed at Fort Sam Houston, Tex. The engagement was
formally announced at a reception at the Lupiloff residence
Sunday, March 14. The wedding date has not been set as yet.

ral Maynard M. Feldman, son of
Mrs. Samuel and the late Mr.
Feldman of Flint, Mich. The
ceremony was held on Sunday
afternoon, March 21 at the Bnai
Moshe Synagogue with Rabbi
Fisher officiating. Miss Annabelle
Feldman was maid of honor with

go, Ill.
Corporal Hy Weinstein of Du-
luth, Minn., was the best man.
Mrs. Schnedman's gown was
blue jersey and black marquis-
ette, and Mrs. Feldman wore a
blue crepe gown. Both mothers'
corsages were orchids.
A reception was held for all
guests after the ceremony. Among

The bride's gown was of heavy
white satin, the full skirt ending
in a long train, and she wore her
mother's veil which was held by
orange blossoms. She carried a
Bible and white orchids.
Dorothy Florence attended her
cousin as maid of honor and the
bridesmaids included Doreen Flor-
ence, Charlotte Dolinka, and Mrs.
Shirley Kopel.
Air Craftsman Sidney Grober-
man of Calgary attended the
groom as best man, and the ush-
ers included Roy Pettle of To-
ronto, Gene Rolinger, Edmon-
ton, and Bab Teller, Connecticut.
A reception followed the cere-
mony.

will be held Wednesday, March
31, 1943, at 6:30 p. m. at Lach-
ar's, 8939 Twelfth Street. The

At a lovely ceremony at the
Book-Cadillac Ilotel Sunday morn-
ing, Gilberta Jewell Rothstein,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles
Rothstein, of Calvert Avenue, be-
came the bride of Lieut. Morton
Jacobs, USAAC, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Samuel Jacobs, of Los An-
geles, Calif. The couple repeated
their vows to Dr. B. Benedict
Glazer, of Temple Beth El.
More than 500 guests attended
the ceremony and the reception
which followed.
The bride wore a bouffant gown
of white marquisette, fashioned
with a deep V-shaped yoke and
high round neckline. Her finger-
tip veil was held in place by a
headdress of white ostrich tips.
She carried a bouquet of white
orchids.
Rhoda Schaefer,
the bride's
only attendant, wore a gown com-
bining a bodice of blue brocade
with a bouffant skirt of matching
blue tulle.
Ronald Rothstein, brother of
the bride, performed the duties
of best man.
For her daughter's wedding,
Mrs. Rothstein wore a navy blue
sheer crepe afternoon dress with
a flowered hat and an orchid cor-
sage.
Following the reception, the
bride and bridegroom left for
Tucson, Ariz., where Lieut. Jac-
obs is stationed. For traveling,
the bride wore a powder blue
garbardine suit under a beige top-
coat with lynx collar. Her hat
matched her suit.
Coming from out-of-town for
the wedding, were . Mr. and Mrs.
Lewis Davis, of Worcester, Mass.;
Mrs. Morton Raskin, of Chicago
and Mrs. Leah Pearlstein, of
New York.
