After an inspiring address by
Rabbi Joshua Sperka at its meet-
ing last Tuesday afternoon, the
Women's League for Sabbath Ob-
se•vance launched a campaign
among Jews of Detroit and espe-
cially Jewish women in loyalty,
devotion and attendance to the
Synagogues of our people.
Under the slogan "Back to the
Synagogue" and the "Torah the
source of our Strength" the Wo-
men's League shall use the me-
dium of press, radio, and posters
to bring the message of the Syn-
agogue to Jewish women of our
city.
In his message Rabbi Sperka
said, "the world now realizes
that the chaos and destruction of
our generation is due to the es-
trangement of the peoples from
