MORAL--

"Beware Lest You Lose the
Substance by Grasping at the Shadow"

Aesop fells of a dog carrying a piece of meat in his mouth
while crossing a brook on a plank. Seeing his reflection in the
water he dropped his meat to try to take the meat away

from his own reflection.
In these days of uncertainty it is always best to He to the
things that have a known value to you. Work hard at your
job, give your best effort to war work, invest your savings in
government war bonds, pay off your debts, build on firm
foundations for tomorrow. If Joe Brown down the street seems
to be getting ahead faster, making more money than you

are, don't let it excite you too much.
To keep a level head and sound judgment requires calm
nerves. Calm nerves come only with health. So it is imperative

that you watch your health. You can do much by keeping
regular habits but if you find you need medical care, don't
wait, get in touch with your doctor at once.

The cost of medicine is part of medical costs. Sam's help
keep those costs down by pricing prescriptions on a cost-
plus-reasonable-profit basis. The highest type prescription
service at the most reasonable prices.
