"I Have Sinned" at
Littman's Theater

Downtown Theaters

''Die Katsche"
(Fishke Der
Kremer) a film based on the story
by Mendele Machesfvrim will be
shown at Littman's Theatre Sun-
day, March 21 and Monday and
Tuesday, March 22 and 23.
The name Mendele is sufficient
assurance that the film will por-
tray Jewish life with all the col-
or, shadow and nuances and "The
Klatsche" lives up to all these
expectations.
The companion film '`I Have
Sinned," is one among many of
the screen masterpieces produced
in Warsaw by a company of Pol-
ish Jewish actors, that nas plac-
ed the Yiddish film upon a high
artistic plane.
Mr. Littman said in a recent
interview that he has been par-
ticularly careful in his selection
of films—only those of the high-
est artistic and dramatic value
will be shown in his theatre.

Telenews Films Show Memorial Ceremony

Before an audience of 40,000 New Yorkers, held spellbound
by a great emotional appeal, a non-partisan committee presented a
mass memorial service for Europe's two million massacred Jews,
The pageant, housed in the mammoth Madison Square Gardens last
week, was characterized by solemnity and ceremony. Witness the
above picture, snapped during a portion of an impressive prayer for
the souls of the dead.
Attended by Jew and non-Jew, "They Will Never Die" also
served to pledge the entire audience to aid in the deliverance of
the remaining four million Jews now held captive. Hanlon Hitler
and his cohorts, although only symbolic, were led before the peace
table for judgment. Final memorial and judgment was presented
by celebrated Paul Muni.
Film highlights of this gigantic meeting are presented on the
new programs at the Downtown and Norwood Telenews Theatres.
Included on the Telenews bill is the officially released full-length
technicolor film of the North African Fight. Titled "At The Front,"
these films are a combined effort of 42 official U. S. Cameramen
who fortunately were able to shoot "On the Spot" scenes.
