On Tuesday, March 9, Miss
Ziporah Bergmann of Cincinnati
was united in marriage to Rabbi
M. Rothenberg., Dean of the
Yeshivath Chachmey Lublin.
About 300 guests were present.
Among them were outstanding
rabbis of American Jewry from
various states. Rabbi El Silver of
Cincinnati, 0., president of the
Union of Orthodox Congregations
of America, performed the cere-
mony and also was master of
ceremonies for the evening.
Speakers under the canopy were
Rabbi J. Pea•loy (Noveminsker
Rabbi) and Rabbi Natelovitz of
Louisville, Ky.
Most of the Detroit rabbis at-
tended the wedding. Representa-
tives of congregations, organiza-
tions, and out-of-town guests
spoke at the reception.
Many other out-of-town guests
are expected for the "Sheva

Broches" of which Rabbi Natelo-
vitz of Louisville, Ky., and Rabbi
M. Eichenstein of the Austrian
Galician Congregation of Chi-
cago.
Noted speakers will address the
mass meeting of the Yeshivah
which will be held on Sunday,
March 14, at 2 p. nn., at Congre-
gation Bnai Moshe, Dexter at
Lawrence. Various representa-
tives will greet the meeting in
the names of their respective con-
gregations.
Detroit Jewry, as an honor and
tr ibute to Rabbi Rothenberg, on
his wedding week, should attend
the mass meeting and pledge
their full support and aid to the
remodeling and maintenance of
the Yeshivath Chachmey Lublin
which is closest and dearest to
his heart. This will be a worthy
gift to the bride and groom
from their friends in Detroit.
