prompted the Fox Theater to
hold over for an additional week

and a cast of thousands.

MICHIGAN—Red Skelton with
a southern accent in "Whistling
in Dixie," which carries on the
adventures of the "Fox" from
the former picture, "Whistling
in the Dark" is on the Michigan
screen. On the same program is
"Journey for Margaret" from
the thrilling best-seller and star-
ring Robert Young, Laraine Day
and presenting the new baby
Bernhardt, Margaret O'Brien.

Stark realism is the keynote of the latest March of Time,
"One Day of War—Russia-1943," which begins its mid-west
premiere showing at the Downtown Telenews Theater for one
week beginning Friday, Feb. 12. Camouflaged by branches, a Russian
tank awaits its prey. The camera, inside the tank, catches a direct
hit on the enemy. The Nazi tank bursts into flames.

Frederick L. Schuman, political
historian and chronicler of inter-
national diplomacy, interpreter of
world affairs who has held the
Woodrow Wilson chair of govern-
ment at Williams College since
1938, will speak for The Detroit
Town Hall at The Cass Theatre,
Friday morning Feb. 19 at 11
o'clock.
Dr. Schuman is serving in
Washington as the chief political
analyst on the staff of the For-
e gn Broadcast International Serv-
ice. Fifteen years of wide travel
in all the countries of Europe, the
Balkans, speial study in Russia
and Germany, familiarity with the
work of the League of Nations,
