Junior Congregation of
Shaarey Zedek to Have
Charge of Services
On Sabbath, Jan. 16, the Jun-
ior Congregation of Congrega-
tion Shaarey Zedek will take
charge Of the service in the Main
Synagogue.

service of Jan. 15, at 8:15 p. m.,
Rabbi Adler will speak on "How
Shall We Treat the German Peo-
ple After the War?" Cantor Ja-
cob II. Sonenklar will chant the
service. One of the problems
which is being discussed by those
who look beyond victory to the
establishment of a just and en-
during peoce, is that of the Ger-
man people after the war. What
should be the treatment at the
hands of the United Nations?
What place should be assigned to
them in the post-war economy?
What limitations or punishment
may, in all justice, be imposed?
This problem is one with which
the victorious free nations will
have to deal immediately upon
the cessation of hostilities. Rabbi
Adler will discuss the broad mor-
al aspects of the question. The
Young People's Seminar will hold
its regular weekly session with
Rabbi Adler immediately follow-
ing the Friday Evening Service.
At the late Friday evening
service on Jan. 22, Rabbi Adler
