marriage vows to Dr. Alvin S.
Yarrows, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Henry Yarrows of Peterboro Ave.
Rabbi Morris Adler officiated at
the candlelight ceremony which
took place at the Colonial Room,
Detroit Leland Hotel, Sunday,
Dec. 20.
The bride's gown of ivory satin
and accents of lace and seed
pearls around the sweetheart neck-
line, long pointed sleeves, and
the full skirt ending in a long
train fell from a tight bodice.
Her finder tip veil was held by a
coronet of seed pearls, and she
carried a white prayer book and
orchids.
The groom's sister, Mrs. N.
Novi was matron of honor with
Misses Ida Eisenmith, Shirley
Kahn, Ethel Reznick and Ruth
Stone as bridesmaids. Herman
Yarrows attended his brother as
best man.
For her (laughter's wedding,
Mrs. Prince chose a gown of
aqua crepe, and Mrs. Yarrow
wore a blue crepe gown. The
corsages worn by both mothers
was orchids.
A dinner and reception follow-
ed the ceremony.
On their return from Florida,
Dr. and Mrs. Yarrows will live
in Detroit.
ROSMAN - MOSS
At two o'clock on Sunday af-
ternoon, Dec. 27, Miss Florence
Moss, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Alexander Moss, of Northlawn
Ave., and Arnold Herbert Ros-
man, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry
Rosman of Boston Blvd., were
united in marriage with Rabbi
Moses Fisher, Jacob Nathan and
Morris Adler, and Cantor David
Katzman officiating. The couple
spoke their vows in the living
room of the Rosman home, under
an arch covered with white chrys-
anthemums and gladioli and flank-
ed with cybotium ferns and palms.
About the rooms were arrange-
ments of large and bebe mums
and gladioli.
Preceding the ceremony, which
was attended only by the immed-
iate families, Mrs. Paul Miller,
the bride's aunt, sang Tourjur
Lamour and Because. She was
accompanied by Mrs. Thomas Fo-
bait who also played the wed-
ding march.
The bride, who was given in
marriage by her father, wore a
princess gown of ivory satin and
carried a white leather bible to
which white orchids were attach-
ed. Her fingertip veil hung from
a Juliette cap which was studded
with pearls.
Miss Doris Moss, who was her
sister's maid of honor, was
gowned in rose taffeta and car-
ried a bouquet of tea roses. The
bridesmaid, the groom's sister,
Miss Gloria Rosman, wore a gown
of baby blue chiffon trimmed
with silver lace and carried
sweetheart roses. Both attend-
ants wore matching head dresses
of ostrich plume and short veils.
John Erman was the best man
and Irving Ellman served as
usher.
Mrs. Moss chose for the oc-
casion a gown of powder blue
crepe and Mrs. Rosman was in
dusty pink lace and chiffon. Both
wore orchid corsages.
Mrs. Emmanuel Rosman, the
groom's grantmother, wore black
chantilly lace and her corsage
was of gardenias.
A dinner followed the cere-
mony, and in the evening there
was a reception for their friends.
Coming from out of town for
the wedding were the bride's
uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs.
Paul Miller of New York City
and their daughter, Miss Fan-
ion Miller.
Mr. and Mrs. Rosman left on
1 honeymoon trip to New York
city, and after Feb. 1 will be
at home on Cortland Ave.

dinner gown and Mrs. Davis,
mother of the bride, a royal blue
crepe dinner gown. The flowers
of the mothers and the grand-
mothers, Mrs. Anna Herman, of
Toronto, and Mrs. Mary Sellings,
were purple orchids.

was Mrs. Minnie Plaskove, sis-
ter-in-law to the bride. They both
carried yellow roses.

taken in Palestine shows a com-
prehensive picture of Hadassah
health work in Palestine, and has
been shown in commercial thea-
ters in other cities. Narration
and Palestine music which ac-
company the film are presented
by David Ross, noted radio com-
mentator.
Mrs. Harry Oberstein will re-
view "So Your Husband's Gone
to War," popular best seller by
Mrs. Ethel Gorham.

Ganhdi and Nehru, the demand
for India's independence, and Sir
Stafford Cripps' proposal, will be
discussed by Ernest Goodman, at-
torney.
The recent book by Kate
Mitchell, "India Without Fable,"
