Lovely Anne Nagel, the young
and talented Hollywood screen

Club Casanova. This is Anne's
first visit to Detroit and she has

At Temple Israel

Temple Israel will hold its sec-
ond service of "Musical Worship"
Friday night, Dec. 25, at 8:30
in the Lecture Hall of the De-
troit Institute of Arts.
The special theme of the serv-
ice will be "The Music of the
Sabbath." Cantor Robert Tulman
sing a number of typically
Sabbath melodies. Karl Haas will
play an organ selection on the
Sabbath theme. The congregation
will sing Sabbath hymns. The
service will be led by Morris
Garvett, president of Temple
Israel.
The Religious School of Tem-
ple Israel will observe a winter
vacation. There will be no ses-
sions Saturday and Sunday, De-
cember 26 and 27 and Saturday
and Sunday, Jan. 2 and 3. Ses-
sions will be resumed Saturday
and Sunday, Jan. 9 and 10.

FOX—"Between Us Girls," the
surprise hit comedy which was
directed by Henry Koster, will be
the top feature at the Fox start-
ing Friday.
The companion feature on the
same program will be "Sin
Town," a lusty, brawling melo-
drama of an oil boom town.

MICHIGAN — Claudette Col-
bert in the hilarious "Palm Beach
Story" with Preston Sturges' di-
rection and witty dialogue and
with the supporting cast includ-
ing Joel McCrea, Mary Astor and
Rudy Vallee, opens on Friday
as the big pre-holiday show at
the Michigan Theatre. On the
same program will be a detective
thriller, "Street of Chance," fea-
turing Claire Trevor, Burgess
