Capacity Audience at
Pisgah Joint Meeting

Schwartz, president of Pisgah
Soft Ball League, made the pre-
sentation speech and it was ac-
cepted in the name of the Lodge
by its president, Rudolph Meyer-
sohn.
This meeting in commemora-
tion of Chanukah and the first
anniversary of Pearl Harbor,
sponsored by Pisgah Lodge and
Pisgah Auxiliary, attracted a ca-
pacity audience. Rabbi Morris Ad-
ler of Congregation Shaarey Ze-
dek delivered an inspiring ad-
dress on the significance of Cha-
nukah. Aaron Droock, past presi-
dent of District Grand Lodge No.
6, also delivered a timely mes-
sage, Louis Greenblatt, tenor solo-
ist, kindled the Chanukah lights
and also rendered several operatic
selections.
Max Goldhoff, chairman of Pis-
gah's war service committee, re-
ports that a large amount of
bonds and stamps were sold at
this meeting, as a part of the
lodge's effort for the month of
December in the 'Remember
Pearl Harbor" bond and stamp
drive.
