Odell Cynthia Warren and
Lester A. Small spoke their nup-
tial vows Sunday evening, Nov.
8 at the ceremony solemnized in
the Congregation Bnai Moshe at
5 p. m. The bride is the daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis War-
ren of Grand Ave. and Mr. Small
is the son of the Hyman Smalls
of Kendall Ave. Miss Warren's
bridal gown was of heavy white
satin with close fitting bodice
Dimmed with pearl rosettes, her
long veil was of bridal illusion
surmounted by a crown of pearls
and she carried a bouquet of
white roses. Mrs. Albert Warren
and Mrs. Erwin Small were ma-
trons of honor, the former in an
aqua gown trimmed with black
sequins and the latter in a gown
of irreidiscent purple. Both car-
ried yellow talisman roses.
The bridesmaids in identical
gowns of ice blue and pink moire
were Ruthye Shaposnik, Hope
Behrendt, Blanche Wexler, Lillian
Efros, Esther Ryback and Sylvia
Chafetz. The best men were
Albert Warren and Erwin
Small, the ushers being Bernard
Miller, Joseph Seligson, Herbert
Kaufman, Harold Landis and
Jerry Efros.
The flower girl in a gown
matching the bridesmaids and the
ring bearer in navy blue eton
suit made an adorable couple.
They are the nephew and niece
of the bride.
After the ceremony there was
a dinner and reception. Mrs.
Warren. the bride's mother wore
a gold colored gown with crystal
embroiders while Mrs. Small
chose a gown of royal blue crepe.
Both mothers wore orchids.
Music for the ceremony was
both dignified and holy, a string
ensemble playing during the cer-
emony. "Because" was sung as
the bride stood midway down the
aisle by Howard Watterstone of
the U. S. Air Corps. and "0
Promise Me" was rendered after
the counle had been joined in
holy wedlock by Ruth Soifer.

The Detroit Section of the Na-
tional Council of Jewish women
will hold a luncheon for all of
the members in good standing on
Dec. 7, 12:30 p. m. at the Jewish
Community Center.
Dr. B. Benedict Glazer will ad-
dress the meeting. Because it is
the first anniversary of Pearl
Harbor, there will also be a talk
by a Red Cross representative.
Members are requested to bring
