How Are You Voting
On Milk Act?
In reference to Proposal No. 3,
the Milk Marketing Act to be
voted on at the Nov. 3rd elec-
tion, will the public be bam-
boozled by the Milk Trust into
voting for this act? It would
seem the public would be wise
enough to vote "No," with the
following facts being an open
book to any who will investi-
gate:
1. If they can get a board in
Lansing to put the price on milk,
which is so necessary to life, how
long will it be before they will
have state boards putting prices
on everything? Will such a state
board make lower prices for the
benefit of the public, or higher
pries for the benefit of the New
York Trusts? The trust always
has a lobbyist with a bulging
pocket of money waiting on the
job.
Next, consider the farmer, to
whom only there seems a prom-
ised hop of gain from the Milk
Trust. Once the Trust wins the
complete power, the farmer can
be sure that the Trust, with its
immense power, will see to it later
on that the farmer will take the
price which the Trust wants to
pay. They try to trap the farmer
with present promises, but how
many farmers think the Three
Hundred Million Dollar Milk
Monopoly was built for their
benefit?
Let us all remain free by vot-
ing "No" on Nov. 3rd against
this monopoly-supported Milk
Marketing Act, "Proposal No. 3."

which was referred to the Com-
mittee on Foreign Affairs and
ordered to be printed.
CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
Whereas reports have reached
us of oppressions and persecu-
tions directed against Jews in
Germany, including American cit-
izens of Jewish faith; and
Whereas such persecution in-
volves a denial of the funda-
mental rights of every being, in
is spirit contrary to the tradition
of American freedom of con-
science, religion and liberty; and
Whereas it has been the policy of
the United States of America in
times past not only to protect its
nationals residing in oher coun-
tries, but also in the interests of
humanity to protest the flagrant
violation of tights of minorities
residing in other countries; and
Whereas we believe that such
conduct against a minority group
does not meet with the agreement
of the vast masses of the Ger-
man people, who have ever ad-
hered to civilized and enlightened
conceptions of liberty and justice:
Therefore be it
Resolved by the House of Rep-
resentatives (the Senate concur-
ring), That the President of the
United States be, and he is here-
by, authorized and directed to in-
form the present Government of
Germany that the people of the
United States view with grave
concern and dismay the persecu-
tions and injustices of the anti-
