Armistice Day Dance
Saturday, Nov. 7 '

The Armistice Day dance, pre-
sented by the Jewish Community
Center, Saturday, Nov. 7 at 8:30
p. m., will be held in an auditor-
ium draped with the flags and
colors of the United Nations.
The music of Darryl Beach and
his Diplomats will be featured,
and during the intermission, a
Victory Quiz, headed by Danny
Raskin, will highlight the eve-
ning's festivities, with prizes
awarded for the best answers.
Admission, including tax, will
he 55 cents for Center mem-
bers, and 75 cents for non-mem-
bers. Advanced tickets are now
available at the Center, and may
he obtained at a 10 cent dis-
count.

Hear J. F. Ballenger

For United States Senator

John F. Ballenger, general
superintendent of the Department
of Public Welfare of Detroit, will
be the third speaker in a series
on the Post War World at Beth
El College of Jewish Studies this
Monday, Nov. 2 at 9 p. m. Mr.
Ballenger, who has achieved
prominence in the field of social
welfare, will present his picture
of the Post War World from the
point of view of a trained soc-
iologist. With a keen understand-
ing of the problems of contem-
porary life, Mr. Ballenger will
essay his prediction of the shape
of the world after the war. For
those not registered in the Col-
lege there will be a miniumum
fee of 25 cents per lecture.

course in "Modern Jewish Cul-
