Rabbi Fram to Lecture
On Future of Palestine
"The Future of Palestine" will
be the subject of Rabbi Leon
Fram's lecture at the Sabbath
Eve service of Temple Israel,
held in the Lecture Hall of the
Detroit Institute of Arts next
Friday night, Oct. 30, 8:30 p. m.
Rabbi Fram has just returned
from New York where he was
one of the Detroit delegates to
the convention of the Zionist Or-
ganization of America.
The service will be followed
by a social hour held in the
Romanesque Hall of the Detroit
Institute of Arts, under the au-
spices of the Sisterhood of Tem-
ple Israel. Mrs. Morton H. Barris
is chairman of the refreshments
committee for the social hour.
Immediately after the social
hour, the Young People's Club
will reassemble in the Lecture
Hall to conduct its youth sym-
posium. The discussion will center
on Rabbi Fram's report on Pal-
estine. The youth symposium will
be led by Ben Desenberg, presi-
dent of the club.

Jewish history, religion, literature
and education opened last Wed-
nesday night with the first course,
given by Rabbi Fram. The course
