has his degree from the Remington School of Pharmacy and is
stationed at Fort Wayne, Detroit, as pharmacist at the station
hospital.

Stone, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben
Stone of Collingwood Ave. The
ceremony was held at the Wil-
shire Hotel and was followed by
a reception.
The bride was lovely in a
gown of ivory satin, the long
veil edged in lace extending front
it tiarit of hand-stitched lace, and
she carried an ivory bible and
orchids.
Evelyn Bernstein attended her
sister as maid of honor and wore
a gown of pink net with pink lace
bolero jacket and carried yellow
roses. Stella Bronstein and Rose
Stone were bridesmaids wearing
pink net gowns with blue velve-
teen jackets and carrying talis-
man roses.
William
Stone attended his
brother as best man.
Among the out of town guests
were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mine-
rich of Chicago, Simon Rosen-
bloom, Syracuse; Lieut. and Mrs.
B. Reeder, Camp Crowder, and
Mr. and Mrs. J. Sussman, Flint.
Mr. and Mrs. Stone flew to
New York and on their return
will reside at the Lee Plaza.

Hear Dr. Robert Drews

On Oct. 21, at 8:30 p. m. the
Young Peoples' Society of Con-
gregation Bnai Moshe presented
Dr. Robert S. Drews, who spoke
cn the current and vital topic of
Marriage in Wartime. Doctor
Dr. Drews, who is a physician,
master of science, and doctor of
public health, clean of the Great
Lakes College and director of the
department of hygiene and bio-
logical sciences at the college.

Bay City Notes

Mrs. Wm. Hutton is a patient
at General Hospital.
Mrs. A. B. Roman left on
Monday for Mainstee, Mich.,
where she will remain this week.
Mrs. Theo. Friedman has re-
turned home from Rock Island,
Ill., where she was called by
the death of her father.
Dr. David Kahn of New York
is in the city having been called
here by the illness of his mother,
Mrs. Alex Kahn, who is a patient
at Mercy Hospital.
Julius Friedman, now in the
United States Army, is located
at Fort Sheppard, Texas. Lester
Friedman is stationed at Fort
Warren, in Wyoming. Frank
Friedman is now a student at
Wayne University. All three boys
are the sons of Mr. and Mrs.
Harry Friedman of Columbus
Ave.

On Sunday, Oct. 18 at the
Wilshire Hotel, Rabbi Morris Ad-
ler united in marriage Esther
Marguerite Felman, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. David Felman, Day-
ton, Ohio, and Norman Acker,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Benj. Acker,
Fullerton Ave. The bride was
beautifully gowned in white satin
with sweetheart neckline, the full
skirt ending in a long train and
her long veil was held by a coro-
net of seed pearls. She carried
it prayer book and orchids.
Dorothy Burnstein, cousin of
the bride was maid of honor with
Doris Margolin and Marcia Ack-
er of Flint as bridesmaids.
The best man was Mansfield
Schlessinger and the ushers in-
cluded Marvin Felman, the
bride's brother, and Louis Ber-
man.
Mr. and Mrs. Acker are spend-
ing their honeymoon in the East.

CARD PARTY
A card party for worthy char-
itable causes will be given by the
Goodwill Sewing Circle in the
social hall of Congregation B'Nai
Moshe Wednesday evening, Nov.
11.
Mrs. Morris Weinstein was ap-

Harriet Feigelman, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Feigelman
of Cortland Ave., became the
bride of Sidnay Wasserman, son
of Richton Ave., at a ceremony
solemnized in Temple Beth El,
Oct. 13, by Dr. B. Benedict Gla-
zer.
Immediately following the cere-
mony about 200 guests were re-
ceived at a reception at the home
of the bride's parents. The new-
lyweds are now taking their hon-
eymoon through the West.
