Mr. Sieff has just recently ar- rived in America from London and is at the present time located in Washington on official business for the British Government. He is one of England's largest mer- chants and industrialists, being vice president and managing di- rector of a chain store organiza- tion operating 236 department stores, with a volume of over $150,00,000 a year, and employ- ing at one time about 22,000 people. In England Mr. Sieff is recog- nized as one of that country's outstanding planners in business and economics.
