' and Prosperity • STOCKHOLM (WNS) — The annual meeting of university stu- dents from all parts of Denmark was the scene of the greatest pro-Jewish demonstration in Nazi- dominated Europe since the out- break of war, according to in- formation received here this week. In oen defiance of Nazi regula- tions, thousands of Danish stu- dents, gathered in the city of Goerloev for the traditional meet- ings and festivities, taged an im- pressive demonstration of their friendship for Jews, which the people of Denmark or the Nazi leaders will not soon forget. The students conducted a parade through the streets of the city, carrying the Danish and blue and white Jewish flags. Wo- men students were clad in blue and white dresses, while the men wore blue and white hats. Jewish students were given laces of honor in the article.
