Smith, progres- sive, liberal and labor endorsed candidate for the office of coun- cilman, reiterated his former stand. Smith, who has received en- dorsements from numerous Jewish organizations as well as eminent leaders, urged all the people to carry themselves with dignity in order to earn the respect of the world and fulfill their pledge of citizenship by working toward good government.
