Hebrew School Drive
For Members Begins
After Rosh Hashonah
The Membership Enrollment
Project of the United Hebrew
Schools will begin this year im-
mediately after Rosh Hashonah.
The first meeting will be held
Thursday evening, Sept. 17 at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron
A. Silberblatt, the chairman of
this project. His associate chair-
man is Dr. Albert E. Bernstein.
The planning committee consists
of Aaron A. Silberblatt, Rudolph
Zuieback, Harry Cohen, Julius
Berman, and Louis Robinson.
The membership fee for the
United Hebrew Schools is very
nominal, it is $5.00 per year. It
is the aim of the Schools to build
up a large membership, not only
because of the financial end of
it, which is not minimized, but
mainly because of its educational
and moral values. A large mem-
bership means a great moral sup-
port for the system of schools.
Members have until now kept
in touch with the schools through
the various celebrations such as
holiday festivals, commencement
exercises, open house, etc. From
now on an additional point of
contact will be added, and that is
a monthly bulletin which all mem-
bers will receive and by means of
which they will be informed of
the activities of the schools.
