Protest Mass Meetings of Federation for
Polish Jews Will Be Held September 17

Plans are nearing completion
for the mass demonstration and
protest meeting sponsored by the
Federation of Polish Jews which
will commemorate the third year
since world-wide hostilities began.

Pittsburgh will be guest speak-
er, together with Chester Kozdroy,
president of the Polish Citizen's
League in Detroit. The demon-
stration will take place on Thurs-
day, Sept. 17 in Jericho Temple,

segregating Jewish students in
schools and colleges, the outlawing

LONDON (WNS) — Represen-
tatives of every Jewish organiza-
tion in Britain—orthodox and re-
form, Zionist and Revisionist —
attended a special mass meeting
having been called to stimulate
Jewish aid to Russia.
The meeting, supported by rab-
binical groups, youth organiza-
tions, labor bodies, etc., voted to
launch a campaign for 1,000,000
shillings (approximately $250,000)
for Russian war relief. At the
suggestion of Professor Levi of
London University the funds will
be used to ship needed medical
supplies to Russia.
Morris Meier, veteran Yiddish
iournalist and editor of the Lon-
don Jewish "Zeit," presided. Mes-
sages of greeting were received
from Jewish organizations in
America, Palestine and South
America.
