"Rhythmania" at Club
Three 666 this Week

"Rhythmania" is the name of
and an "in a word" description
of the new fast-moving musical
revue that Bettie Taylor is offer-
ing this week at Club Three 666.
Walter Green, whose amazing tap
exhibitions, involving complete
muscle control, are drawing plenty
of attention, continues as the star
of the new show with a talented
supporting cast that remains al-
most intact from the previous
"Jivesappopin'." With the excep-
tion of newcomers Mooch and
Mooch, comedy dance team, the
cast includes Rosita Lockhart, at-
tractive soubrette; Morton
"Swing" Brown, swing expert;
Joa-Anna Holmes, unusual song-
stress; Sam Fouche, swing-mas-
ter of ceremonies; the lovely danc-
ing Taylorettes, and Prince Al-
bert popular lyric tenor. "Swing
Interlude" provides the novel
opening, featuring the Taylor-
ettes. "Hawaiian War Chant," col-
orful ensemble number from the
previous revue, has been retained
by popular request and again oc-
cupies the center spot. The finale
features Walter Green and the
entire company, with Green per-
forming a unique tap routine on
top of a huge drum. "Lanky"
Bowman and his orchestra play
for dancing and the revue. George
Sanders at the Hammond organ
and the songs of Joa-Anna con-
tinue as the lull feature.
