NEW YORK—The Joint Dis
tribution Committee received this
week a list of 238 names of Jews
from the Baltic countries of Lith-
uania, Latvia and Esthonia who
are now refugees in Siberia. In
addition to the names, the list
gives the cities of origin of the
refugees. American relatives seek-
ing more information concerning
the people whose names appear
on it may call at or write to:

National Fund Reports
Record Income

JERUSALEM (Palcor) — The
receipts for the month of June
of the Keren Kayemeth (Jewish
National Fund) reached the fig-
ure £55,400, the peak for the
nine-month period ending June
30. This brought the total for
the nine months of the current
financial year to £451,400, which
is 20 per cent higher than was
obtained in the corresponding
period last year.
The United States contributed
£259,200 to the total; South Af.
rica, £6,770; Great Britain, £50,-
600 and Palestine, £36,300. The
share of the British Empire in
the total receipts is 32 per cent
and that of Palesttine, eight per
cent.
During the period from Octe.
ber, 1941 through June, 1942 the
Jewish National Fund acquired
30,584 dunams of land, bringing
the total in its possession to 592,-
