Bnai Moshe to Dedicate
Its Honor Roll

CongregaVon Bnai Moshe will
dedicate the Honor Roll of its
men in the armed forces of the
United States with a colorful
semi-military ceremony Sunday
afternoon, June 7, at 2:30 in the
main auditorium at Dexter and
Lawrence.
The patriotic exercises w;11 be
conducted by the Detroit Post
135, Jewish War Veterans of
the United States, the Julius
Rosen•.vald Post No. 218 Amer
ican Legion, and the ladies aux-
iliaries of both organizations. Boy
Scout Troop 23 and G*1-1 Scout
Troop 220 will also participate.
The dedication is sponsored by
the Men's Club of the Congre-
gation and will be presided over
by Edmund Labe, the president.
Malcolm Bingay, managing ed-
itor of Detroit Free Press, will
delver the dedication address,
following addresses by Rabbi
Moses Fischer and Rabbi Jacob
J. Nathan. Cantor David Katz-
man will lead the assemblage in
patriotic songs. The public is
invited.

Finsterwald established his own
clothing store. As the years
passed the business expanded, re-
sulting in four branches.
A former member of the board

Community Fund. Formerly pres-
ident of Temple Beth El, he was
an honorary life board member
and at the time of his death was
a trustee.
Mr. Finsterwald was a trustee
of the orphanage he knew as a
child. He was a member of the
International Yacht and Country
Club and the Franklin Hills Coun-
try Club.
His home was at 7410 LaSalle
Blvd., but he had been making
his home with his daughter, Mrs.
Roserna Simon, of Los Angeles,
Calif. He had returned here for
a visit April 24 and was living
at the Statler.
He married Helen Marymont,
of this city. Surviving are his
wife and daughter; three sons,
Miles, Joseph and Frederick, of
Fort Bragg, N. C.; and five grand-
children.
