Nazi Anti-Semitism Policy
Is Opposed by Danes

STOCKHOLM (WNS) — Re-
vealing that the Nazi policy of
anti-Semitism is meeting with
increasing resistance from the
Danish people, Fadrelandet, the
official newspaper of the Claus-
enists, the Danish Nazi party,
vigorously condemned this lack
of support which they reported
led to "scandalous events."
The newspaper also reported
that a speaker at the meeting of
the Conservative Students' Or-
eanization wa losduly booed and
finally forced to get off the
Platform when he assailed the
Jews.

Beth El Sisterhood -
Annual Meeting at Statler

Because of the present trans-
portation problem the annual
meeting of the Sisterhood of
Temple Beth El will be held at
the Statler Hotel and not at
the Country Club as previously
announced. The dessert luncheon
will be held Monday, May 11,
at 1:30 p. m.
The meeting will be followed
by an afternoon of games. Door
prizes will be awarded. Tickets
are 50 cents and may be had
at the Temple office or from
members of the board. Only
members of the Sisterhood will
be admitted.

Bnai Moshe Men's Club
War Relief Card Party

The Russian and Chinese War
Relief funds now being raised
throughout the country will share
the proceeds of a card party
sponsored by the Men's Club of
Congregation Bnai Moshe on
Wednesday, May 6, 8 p. m., in
the banquet hall of the congrega-
tion, Dexter and Lawrence.
Members of the congregation
are reuested to patronize this
worthy undertaking and to solicit
their friends to do likewise. Presi-
dent Edmund Labe, of the Men's
Club, extends a invitation to the
general public to join in attend-
ance and thereby assist the gal-
lant people of Russia and China
in their struggle against the com-

Information is being sought of
Morris Silverberg who has not
contributed to the support of
his wife, Ida, and minor daugh-
ter, since August, 1941, as a
result of which the family is in
destitute circumstances and
greatly in need • of his financial
assistance. Mr. Silverberg, who
is believed to be in Detroit, was
born in Poland, some 58 years
ago, is 5 ft. 5 in. tall, weighs
132 pounds, has black hair, grey
eyes, large pores in face, wears
glasses, was a paperhanger. Any-
