which Mr. and Mrs. Robins left
for a honeymoon trip in the

Ladies Auxiliary 135
Plans Banquet in May

The Detroit Ladies Auxiliary
No. 135 of the Jewish War
Veterans of the U.S. will par-
ticipate in the Army Day Par-
ade, Monday, April 6. The mem-
bers will march in uniform with
their colors.
The Auxiliary is planning a
Mother-Daughter banquet to be
held in May. The chairmen of
this affair are Mrs. Lillian Feld-
man and Mrs. Mae Marsh.

Mrs. David Galen, was united in
marriage to Sidney Eugene Fish-
man, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mor-
ris Fishman. Rabbi Jacob Na-

Miss Galen wore a gown of
duchess satin in pale ivory tone
with high neckline, extremely
full skirt ending in a four yard
train. The sleeves were three-
quarter length with exaggerated
fullness at shoulder line and
shirred down through the cloth
to resemble butler wings. At the
neck of the gown were tiny
medallions of rosepoint over 100
years old. The veil was a Juliet
can fashioned of bridal illusion
and trimmed at the front with

used on the gown. Her veil was
the same ivory shade as the bridal
gown and extended two yards
longer than the dress train. She
carried a bouquet of calla lilies.
Jocelyn Galen, a sister of the
bride, was maid of honor. Bar-

bridesmaids were Mrs. Barney
Hyman, Mrs. Julius Stross, Miss
