SHERMAN - COHEN
At an impressive double-ring
ceremony held at Temple Beth
El on Friday afternoon, March
13, the marriage was solemnized
of Miss Helene Cohen, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Cohen of
Hanna Ave., Windsor, to Dr.
Phil M. Sherman, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Abe Sherman of Boston
Blvd., Detroit.
The bride wore a two-piece
dress of blue-grey wool, trimmed
effectively with satore buttons
in aqua, and wore earrings to
match the buttons. Her acces-
sories were in navy blue, and her
large hat had a veil trimmed
with (lots which also matched
the buttons. She carried a white
Bible from which hung white
ribbon streamers entwined with
ceremony which took place at the
Knights of Pythias Hall.
The bride was gowned in a
frock of white satin and net,
having a sweetheart neckline. A
crown of shirred satin held the
shoulder-length veil. She carried
a spray of white gardenias on a
white Bible.
Miss Anne Baschin, sister of
the bride, was the bride's only
attendant.
Charles Iskowitz, brother of
the bridegroom, served as best
man.
Mr. and Mrs. Iskowitz left
after the ceremony for a week's
honeymoon in New York and
upon their return will reside at
3778 Monterey Ave.
FRANKEL - ROSENSTEIN
