On Saturday evening, Feb. 28,
Miss Sydel Stone, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Isadore Stone of
2257 Monterey Ave. became the
bride of Marvin Frank Jacobs,
son of Louis A. Jacobs, at
the bride's residence. Rabbi
Joshua S. Sperka officiated. The
bride was charming in a beige
crepe dress and wore a short
veil of shirred beige net, held
in place by a tiara of gardenias.
She carried a white prayer book
with purple orchids and gar-
denias. The maid of honor was
the groom's cousin, Miss Harriet
Jane Jacobs. Dewey Jacobs,
cousin of the groom was the
best man. A reception followed
the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs.
Marvin Jacobs left for a sojourn
in Miami Beach, Fla., and on
their return will be at home at
2257 Monterey Ave.
