concern stands ready to serve
all its direct and indirect cus-
tomers with the same courtesy
as heretofore in the past 54
years. The B. Manischewitz Co.
and all its associates remember
very well that just now in the
time of our crisis, we can best
serve the interest of national
defense by maintaining patiently
the natural contact with all its
customers, and doing everything
possible for the complete defeat
of our enemies.

A visit of a member of the
Manischewitz family in this city
is always of importance for the
Jewish social life and especially
for the Jewish food industry.
The present visit of Joseph
Manischewitz — the secretary of
the B. Manischewitz Co.—is dis-

extraordinary moment of our

Zedek on March 11

- Oft- Wednesday evening, -March
11, at Shaarey Zedek, Dr. Is-
rael Goldstein will address a
meeting of the Detroit Zionist
District, on "Forty Years of
Jewish National Fund."
Dr. Israel Goldstein, who is
president of the Jewish National

the task of making American
Jewry Keren Kayemeth con-
scious ever since. It was under
Dr. Goldstein's administration
that two-thirds out of the total
of $12,241, 258.91 of the total
of American Jewry's contribu-
tion to the Keren Kayemeth was
raised and remitted for the pur-
pose of Palestine Land Redemp-
tion. The meeting will begin at
8:15 sharp. There is no admis-
sion fee and there will be no
solicitation of funds. The pill - f-
