be occupied next Friday night,
Feb. 27, by Rabbi Jehuda Cohen,
the director of the Bnai Brith
Hillel Foundation of the Univers-
ity of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
The services will be conducted

by Morris Garvett, president of
the congregation, assisted by
Cantor R. E. Tulman and Organ-
ist Carl Haas. The services will
take place in the lecture hall of
the Detroit Institute of Arts.
The younger children of the
Religious School of Temple Israel
are now engaged on the project
of planning costumes for the
Purim masquerade party which
will take place at the Hampton
public school, 18460 Warrington
Drive on Sunday morning, March
1. The children will come to the
masquerade dressed in the cos-
tumes of the characters of the
Bible, and also in the costumes
of the various nations now allied
in the war against the modern
Haman.
