Henry Ford's warning to the
Ku Klux Klan that he will start
legal action against the organiza-
tion if it does not refrain from
distributing anti-Semitic litera-
ture using his name has been
given wide acclaim throughout
the land.
The warning, nuide known Sat-

Ford's attorney, was incorporated
in a letter to J. A. Colescott,
Imperial Wizard of the Klan, and
follows a statement issued by Mr.
Ford on Jan. 12 in which he con-
demned anti-Semitism and de-
clared that he did "not subscribe
or support, directly or indirectly,
any agitation which would pro-
mote antagonism against my Jew-
ish fellow citizens."

In his letter to the Imperial
Wizard, the legal representative
of Mr. Ford arcked that the Klan
"desist from further publication
and circulation" of "The Inter-
national Jew" and also of any
reprints of other articles related
to this subject-matter that ap-
