WASHINGTON (JPS)—In an
attempt to bring to a head

army under British command, the
American Palestine Committee,
headed by Senator Robert Wag-
ner of New York and Senator
Charles McNary of Oregon,
boasting of 67 senators, 139 rep-
resentatives and 22 governors of
states as part of its membership,
is now seeking to bring a reso-
lution to Congress to force dip-
lomatic action on having the
British grant a Jewish army.

NEW YORK (JPS) — Advo-

estine through the lend-lease ma-
