Phi Alpha Fraternity of Wayne
University had its informal initi-
ation Nov. 23. Five new pledges,
Hyman Koenigsberg, Max Stasof-
sky, Albert Posen, Albert Rosen-
blum and Phil Sternfield, were
initiated. In the afternoon the
formal initiation ceremony was
held and new and old members
dined at Lelli's. Later in the eve-
ning there was a party for
new members, highlighted by a
scavenger hunt.

Two former Detroit families
will be united, when Adele Karp,
(laughter of Mr. and Mrs. Max
E. Karp, is married to Charles
Racoosin, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Rax Racoosin. They are both now
living in California. The mar-
riage will take place at the home

Drive, Pacific Palisades, Calif.,
on Jan. 24. A wedding reception
will follow the wedding supper
