Opportunity Guild will be held at
the Belcrest Hotel, 5440 Cass

Dec. 2 and 3, from 10 a. m. to
5 p. m.
A complete line of attractive

A valuable prize will be award-
ed each day. The public is in-
vited.
The Opportunity Guild, main-
tained by the Resettlement Serv-
ice, gives Jewish refugee women a
chance to do sewing in their
homes to increase their limited in-
comes. The Guild does all the
buying, planning and selling of
the finished articles. The stock
is on sale daily in the main lobby
of the Jewish Community Center
from 10 a. m. to 2 p. m., Mon-
day through Friday.

Beth El Sisterhood to Be
Addressed by Upton
Close Dec. 8

Upton Close, one of the fore-
most interpreters of World Af-
fairs, will speak at the Sister-
hood meeting Monday, Dec. 8,
at 2 p. m., at Temple Beth El,'
Woodward at Gladstone.
Mr. Close is a stimulating lec-
turer and an authority on the
Far East situation.
The first meeting of the Sis-
terhood at which Erika Mann
spoke, was enthusiastically at-
tended by one of the largest au-
diences in the bistor y of the Sis-
terhood.
The program committee is
headed by Mrs. Morris Rand.
