that this branch was organized
only a few weeks ago, it already
has three elementary classes.
Six Mile Road — The Six Mile
Road School is located at Brush
and Minnesota. The teacher in
charge is Abraham Warsen. The
building in which the school
is housed serves not only as a
Hebrew school but also as a syna-
gogue and a center of Jewish
activities for the neighborhood.
The following are the members

this school: Frank Zusman, pres-
ident; Louis Sherman, vice-presi-

Spiegel, secretary; Philip Heisen-

special Bar-Mitzvah classes in
every branch of the United He-
brew Schools. In these classes the
children are not only prepated
for the proper chanting of the
Haftorah, but are taught every-
thing pertaining to the Bar Mitz-
vah ceremony.
Several Chugim Ivrim, Hebrew
circles, meet either Friday eve-
nings or Saturday afternoons for
an Oneg Shabbath and spend a
couple of hours in Hebrew talks
