HENRIETTA TAUBER
for 21 years a resident of De-
troit, passed away at the home
of her daughter, Mrs. Ira Fried-
enbe•g, 1403 Virginia Park,
Tuesday, Oct. 21, after a brief
illness. Mrs. Tauber was 81 years
old, the widow of Rudolf Tau-
ber. She was born in Germany.
She was a member of the Sis-
terhood of Temple Beth El and
the oldest member of the Home
Relief Society. She is survived by
Mrs. Friedenberg; three sons,
Sidney of Detroit, Gustave of
Chicago and Joseph of San Fran-
cisco; three grandchildren and
two great grandchildren. Burial
took place in Chicago, Ill.

Funeral services for Benjamin
Jacobs, 65 years old, 4066 Webb
Ave., who died Oct. 22, were
held in the Lewis Bros. funeral
home on Oct. 23, Rabbi Morris
Adler officiated. A Detroit resi-
dent since 1907, Mr. Jacobs is
survived by his wife, Anita; a
daughter, Mrs. Rena Tenzer; and
three sons, Morris, Michael and
Sam D. Burial was held at
Cloverhill Park Cemetery.
MRS. GERTRUDE BERLIN
Services for Mrs. Gertrude Ber-
lin, 2981 Cortland Ave., were
held at the Hebrew Memorial
Chapel on Oct. 28. Burial was
in Beth Abraham Cemetery. Mrs.
Berlin, who was 37 years old,
died Oct. 27. Born in Poland, she
lived here 35 years. Surviving are
her husband, Sol; a daughter,
Sharon; her mother, Mrs. Eva
Greenbaum; two sisters, Freda
Greenbaum and Mrs. Sadie Suth-
erland, and two brothers, Joe
and Morris Greenbaum.
