Living Tuesday
A forum on "What Can be
Done About the High Cost of
Living?" will take place on Tues-
day, Oct. 21, at 8 p. al. , at Assem-
bly Hall, 9125 12th St., near
Clairmount. The speakers will be
Abe Cherow, president of the
Jewish Grocers Association; Ruth
Dombey, housewife, and I. Green-
berg, of Jewish Peoples Commit-
tee. Discussion from the floor will
follow.

"Sunrise" to Have
Premiere Here at
Littman's Theater
"Sunrise," ("Ven Die Zun Geht
Oif"), Joseph Rumshinsky's new-
est operetta, will have its pre-
miere in Detroit, at Littman's
Yiddish People's Theater, 12th
and Seward, Friday evening,
Sunday matinee and evening,
Oct. 17 and 19.
This operetta had a full year's
run in New York. It features new
songs, dances, attractive scenery.
The leading parts of this new
musical production "Sunrise," will
be played by Lilly Lilliana, Leon
Liebgold, Abraham Loix, Ethel
Dorf, and entire cast, under the
direction of Misha Fishzon. Sam
Solomon will conduct the music.
The operetta will be staged by
I. Arco.
