Mrs. Grahm Dies

the sinking on Nov. 25 last of the
Patria in Haifa Harbor, who
joined the British Army imme-
diately upon their release from
the detention camp at Athlit, it
was declared here when the Jew-
ish Soldiers' Welfare Committee
held a reception in their honor.
The reception was held at the
Jewish Soldiers' Club, sponsored
by the Committee and meant pri-
marily as a recreational center
for Jewish soldiers on leave. A
canteen, reading and writing
rooms, and facilities for games
are provided in the club. The
club in Tel Aviv is similarly
equipped.

Detroit Institute of Arts, for all

Mrs. Jaffee stated: "Contrib-

tine. American women must an-
swer the call and we expect that
this year the Hadassah Roll of
Honor will reach a new high."
Workers are reminded that the
culmination of the campaign is
not far off and that slips should
be covered as soon as possible
and that reports should be
brought into the Hadassah office
at 13331 Linwood, where there
is an office staff every day from
10 to 4 o'clock.
Plans for the next meeting
of Hadassah on Wednesday, Oct.
15, at 2 o'clock, at Hotel Statler,
are under way, according to Mrs.
S. G. Meyers, program chairman.

Bnai Moshe Sunday
School Opens Oct. 5

On Sunday, Oct. 5, at 10 a. rn.,
the Bnai Moshe Religious School
will resume classes.
Students who have already reg-
istered will be notified by mail
