At the installation of officers of
Hebrew Ladies Aid Society held
last week, the president, Mrs.
Paul R. Freeman, rendered a re-
port of the work of the organiza-

League of Jewish Youth to
Hold Forum on "Jewish
Men In Uniform"
A program is being planned by
the Army and Navy and the
"Youth Speaks" Committees of
the League of Detroit Jewish
Youth, to be held on Sunday
night, Sept. 28, at 8 p. m., at
the Jewish Community Center.
The topic of discussion will he
"Jewish Men In Uniform" and
Jewish boys representing each
branch of service will be the dis-
cussants of the evening. The
morale of Jewish men in service,
their outlook on religion, their
social contacts will all be dis-
cussed. Matthew Penn, USO offi-
cial at Camp Custer, will act as
the moderator of the evening.
Invitations have been issued to
the 30 Jewich boys now stationed
at the Naval Armory.
One of the group, Sidney Boxer,
First Class Seaman, is to be one
of the evening's speakers.
Members of the League will
drive these guests to the Center.
Similar invitations have been
extended to the men stationed at
Selfridge Field, and to the sol-
diers at Camp Custer and Fort
Wayne.
After the forum, there will be
refreshments and dancing. There
will be no admission chafge, and
the public is invited to participate.
