LITBY - CUTLER
Miss Miriam Cutler and Robert
Luby were married Sunday, Sept.
14, in the presence of 250 guests
at an impressive garden wedding
ceremony at the Cutler summer
cottage at Port Huron. Garden
flowers adorned the bridal can-
opy and Rabbi Joshua Sperka
officiated.
The wedding party included the
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Philip J.
Cutler and Mr. and Mrs. Albert
A. Luby. The maid of honor was
Miss Beverly Rohde of Chicago.
The best man was Stanford Gla-
zier.
Guests from Chicago were: Mr.
and Mrs. A. M. Rohde, Mr. and
Mrs. I. H. Rohde and daughter,
Beverly, Mr. and Mrs. Aaron P.
Cutler, Mrs. Dora Goldberg, Mr.
and Mrs. Oscar Weisman. The
other guests were from Detroit
and Port Huron.

WEINGARDEN - TOWLEN
Miss Geraldine Towlen, daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Tow-
len of Northlawn Ave., became
the bride of Leo Weingarden at
an afternoon ceremony at the
Wilshire Hotel on Monday, Sept.
1. Covers were laid for 80 guests.
Mr. and Mrs. Weingarden went
on a week's lake cruise through
the eastern states. They are at
home after Sept. 10 at 9052 Tyler
Ave.

of New York, were the brides-
maids. Esther Ann Honeyman
was the junior bridesmaid. Dr.
Cook was assisted by his brother,
Joseph, as best man, and Dr.
Horowitz of Bay City,•Dr. Sklar
of Aurora, Ill., Dr. Rosenthal and
Dr. Honeyman were ushers.
Following a trip through the
eastern states Dr. and Mrs. Cook
will reside in Akron. Mich.

Mrs. Sara Friedman of Fuller-
ton Ave. announces the marriage
of her (laughter, Betty, to Ed-
ward Zellman, son of Mrs. Ethel
Zellman of Jerusalem, Palestine.
