A.D.L. Denies Play Protest
NEW YORK (JPS)-A report
that the Anti-Defamation league
of the Bnai Brith had protested
the, production of a play "The
Good Neighbors" was denied here
by its officers. Sinclair Lewis is
one of the cast of the forthcom-
ing production, written by' Jack
Levin about immigrant Jews. The
Nobel Prize winning novelist had
previously declared that the play
by Levin was designed to , pro-
mote better understanding of
Jewish life, while gossip had it
that this was not the view taken
by one of the civic-protective
agencies.
