NEW YORK—Hashomer Ha-
dati of North America, with
headquarters at 516 Bedford
Ave., Brooklyn, N. Y., announces
the purchase of a 168 acre fully
equipped and stocked Hachshara
(training farm) near Livingston
Manor, N. Y. The Hachshara
will be utilized to train those
members who are planning for
Immigration to Palestine.
A section of the farm will be
given over to the Eastern Re-
gional Summer Camp, where
members of Hashomer Hadati
from the Eastern Region will
conduct a camp on a Scouting
basis.
Despite the uncertain world
conditions and despite the pres-
ent difficulties in the Near East,
the Religious Zonst Scout and
Chalutz movement — Hashomer
Hadati—has launched its Hach-
shara Project. The first group
will begin its training June 8,
1941. Zionist leaders from all
over the country have lauded
this youth movement on the oc-
casion of the courageous under-
taking and are hailing the spirit
of hope and enthusiasm evidenced
by Hashomer Hadati of North
America.
