Chronicle Thanked by Union of
American Hebrew Congregations

May 6, 1941
Mr. Philip Slomovitz, Editor,
Detroit Jewish Chronicle,
Woodward Avenue,
Detroit, Mich.
Dear Mr. Slomovitz:
• On behalf of the Union of American Hebrew Congre-
gations and its affiliated organizations, the National Federa-
tions of Temple Sisterhoods, Brotherhoods and Youth, I
wish to express appreciation and thanks for your cooperation
in obtaining publicity for our recent Biennial Conventions
in Detroit.
Your interest in our sessions was evidenced by your
constant attendance at the sessions, and your care in gath-
ering and reporting the news were most impressive.
We were delighted with your special pre-Convention
issue and more than that with the four pages given over to
the meetings in "Jewish Chronicle" of last week.
Many thanks, and kind greetings,
Sincerely yours,
GEORGE ZEPIN,
Secretary.
