On Saturday morning, May 10,
Mr. and Mrs. Morris Cherney of
Pontiac observed the Bar Mitzvah
of their twin sons, Allen and
Sheldon, at Congregation Bnai
Israel. Sheldon chanted the Haf-
torah portion and also acted as
cantor for the Musaf service.
Both brothers addressed the con-
gregation. At the conclusion of
the services, the entire congrega-
tion was served refreshments. On
Sunday evening a buffet supper
was served for over 200 guests,
many from Detroit and Windsor.
The guests were entertained by
Leon Reznick, assisted by Miss
Rosalyn Dons.
