ALBANY, News Service)—A bill designed to prevent discrimination in em- ployment in defense industries on account of race, creed or color, became law here with the signature of Gov. Herbert H. Lehman. A similar bill was recently in- troduced in the U.S. House of Representatives by Congressman Thomas F. Ford. The bill was referred to the Committee on the Judiciary.
