Wayne County. Many tributes to
his character and ability have
been expressed both by the Bar
and by the public at large.
Judge Keidan played a prom-
inent role in raising the stand-
ards governing the administra-
tion of justice in Detroit and in
Wayne County. He shared in the
work which resulted in the re-
organization of Recorder's Court
in the establishment of an effi-
cient probation department sup-
plemented by a psychiatric clinic
which has come to be a useful
aid to the judge in intelligently
arriving at decisions.

Discussion Group to
Meet April 10

The cost of living will form
the basis of discussion for the
Jewish Community Center Town
Hall of the Air Discussion Group
at its April 10 meeting in the
Adult Lounge of the Center, at
9:30 p. m., when they will also
hear the noted economists, Ed-
win W. Kemmerer and Leland
Rex Robinson, debate the ques-
tion: "Can We Prevent Higher
Living Costs?" on the broadcast
from New York of "America's
Town Meeting of the Air."

Youth Chapter of L. A. S.
to Meet Monday

A social meeting of the Detroit
Youth Chapter of Los Angeles
Sanatorium will take place at the
Educational Center, 111519 Lin-
wood at Burlingame, on Monday,
April 7, at 8:30 p. m.
A prominent speaker will be
present.
Plans are being made for a
barn dance to be held at Kirby's
Barn on the Eight Mile Rd. north
of Grand River. All proceeds will
go to aid the 15 indigent Detroit
tuberculars at the sanatorium.
Further information will be given
at the meeting.
